Accessibility at the North York Family Health Team
The North York Family Health Team’s goal is to establish a community that is inclusive of all persons and treats everyone in an equitable manner. In creating such a community, the North York Family Health Team aims to nurture an environment where all people are treated with equal levels of respect, their independence is valued and integration of services is considered equally for all people regardless of a person’s disability.
Further to this goal, the North York Family Health Team welcomes support persons to accompany people with disabilities anywhere they are needed. Since we provide confidential services at times, support persons may be required to sign confidentiality agreements to ensure that everyone in the room will respect patient-provider privacy.
